Me & Her

Me (or is it her?) is Shelley Hamilton, a nouveau soul diva with Nova Scotian roots. Shelley made her first foray into music in junior high, creating three-part harmony country groups to “sound sweet like Dolly.” Shelley grew up, paid her rhythm and blues dues, performed around the world, worked with Joni — yes, THAT Joni — and rocked the stage with Merry Clayton… but she’s not one to name drop so you didn’t hear it from her.

Her (or is it me?) is Stella Panacci, who started playing drums at 12, won the Kiwanis Music Festival that year and kicked all the boys’ asses. Stella went on to become a nationally acclaimed songwriter and singer who’s played and shared stages with bandmates from Broken Social Scene, Danko Jones and was even recruited to fly to LA to write songs with Igor Khoroshev of the legendary band Yes.

And now they’re together: the brilliantly rootsy, rocking and raucous Me & Her.

Next in their creative pipeline is their soon-to-be released debut album that combines their vocal and writing talents into a southern rock/soul/country vibe that will definitely blow minds, earbuds and speakers coast to coast. You have been warned.

Me & Her are also top-notch hired guns with years of session, studio and voiceover work between them. If you need a singer will make your demo sparkle with nailed-it-in-one-take vocals, Shelley and Stella have got you covered. Get in touch with me (or her) and let’s talk about your project today.
